As I walked through my husband's health struggles—including a major heart-related crisis, multiple hospitalizations, and a heartbreaking battle with dementia—caring for my own physical, mental, and spiritual well-being became essential. In those uncertain days, I found strength in prioritizing self-care while holding onto the unwavering promises of God’s word. Scriptures like Proverbs 3:5-6— “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths”—became my guiding light.
